Earth Day is a gathering for all ages and interests! We will be holding roundtables, listening to music, cloth-swaping, planting seeds, looking at demonstrations, and imagining a greener downtown. Come to learn about your city's ecology, come to plan for better environmental action, come to sing and dance, come to chalk and bounce, come to meet your neighbors, come to honor earth, and come to make a commitment to future generations!
Location: Fifth Avenue by the Library on "the Commons-to-be" and the designated future urban park. We encourage folks also to get on the bus and visit the Earth Day Festival at the Leslie Science and Nature Center from noon to 4:00 p.m.
Earth Day in the downtown will be from 10 a.m. -10 p.m., anytime, or all the time. A warm Spring Day has been requested. Sunday, April 19th, 2015.
